Not too long ago, my friend visited me and I took him to my property located a few minutes away from my home, whereupon he spent the afternoon relaxing on my hammock. The hammock hangs from a 300 year old olive tree, which I've named Socrates' Olive Tree. This is where I go to ponder the human condition (and take a nap lol). Here's a picture of my friend Claus enjoying the view from underneath what would have been an olive canopy but I recently clipped it ferociously (not to worry, olive branches and leaves grow back relatively quick, the problem is when ignorant people chop the tree down low from the trunk).
Here's how Socrates' olive tree evolved and finally looked only a few months after the above photo was taken:
